ಕುಮದ್ವತಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜ್, ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ನವದೆಹಲಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಅಲಹಬಾದ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ’ಜೀವ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೀವ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ’ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕೀರಣವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಮದೇವಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಡಾ. ಸಂಜಪ್ಪ, ಡಾ. ಜಿ. ರವಿಕಾಂತ್, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮನ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರೋ. ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಗದಗ್, ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ವಿನಾಯಕ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
