Admission Procedure as Per NEP (New Education Policy):

UUCMS 2022 stands for Unified University & College Management System. Karnataka admission 2022 is being organized through UUCMS platform. The portal uucms.karnataka.gov.in is the common platform for admission to all higher education institutes of the state. The honbl. Chief Minister of Karnataka has announced that from 2022, UUCMS will be used for admission process. Now students do not have to fill separate application forms for different colleges. Instead, they can simply get details of all universities, admission and merit list in one place. The UUCMS 2022 application form will be available from at uucms.karnataka.gov.in.

UUCMS 2022 Application Form – How to apply at uucms.karnataka.gov.in?

The complete process of applying at uucms.karnataka.gov.in is online. Initially there were some glitches in the form. However, as per the minister’s statement to media in July, they have removed the glitches. Therefore now, as per schedule, students can smoothly apply. The simple steps to apply are as follows:

1. Go to uucms.karnataka.gov.in.
2. Then click on the link “New User? Register Here”
3. Read all the details in the application form for UUCMS 2022 opens.
4. Now fill in personal details first.
5. Then upload photograph and signature.
6. Thereafter select category, quota.
7. And finally enter previous education details.

If a student is from PU board, then as soon as he/she enters registration number and year, the form fetches details automatically. Students outside PU board need to enter details manually.

What are the next steps after I submit my application?

Colleges to which you have applied for will invite you on a particular date for Document Verification. You will need to carry the original documents to the College to get your documents verified. Upon successful verification of your documents, you will need to pay fees either Online / Offline.

Karnataka UG Admission 2022 through UUCMS In Accordance with NEP:

UUCMS, students can select open electives at the undergraduate level. Also, the state has made arrangements to enroll students under the National Education Policy (NEP)
