About The School

 Our Kumadvathi High School has come a long way to successfully finish off a decade and two years with old roots and new twigs.

 As one of the lamps light of Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Samsthe, the Kumadvathi high school came into existence on 23rd June 1997. The school began with the intention of providing a quality education to the students from rural areas. The school struggled a lot in its path of success fulfilling the needs of the children.

 The school came into being with an old building taken for rent from a standstill Jayapadma oil extension industry situated in front of Shimoga road. The school ran in Kannada medium for a decade and English medium classes started of to meet the needs and demands of the town people. During the year 2009-10, the location of the school was shifted to that of Mythri Higher Primary School situated at the heart of the town. The school began with some hardly fifteen students and has now      touched the strength of one ninety one. It is a matter of pride that it is one of the populated and popular school in the town.  It is a matter of pride and honor to us that the man with a vision, the Ex-chief Minister Sri. B.S. Yediyurappa The man with a mission Sri. B.Y. Raghavendra. M.L.A, Shikaripur VidanaSabha constituency, is the secretary of the “Swami Vivekananda Vidya Samsthe”.

The school is provided with a magnificent building, well-maintained library, a well equipped laboratory, well-ventilated class rooms, implemented of computers, and a good stock of sports materials.

   The school has a well-qualified, dedicated staff with years of experience of teaching. The teacher strives for an academic excellence. There has been a steady progress in the result till now. The school has achieved a result of hundred percent during the year since 2012-13 in S.S.L.C. The management has established good relationship with the teaching and the non-teaching staff. The director of the institution, Smt. Tejaswini Raghavendra meetings with the school authority regarding the progress of the school with here suggestions and guidance. All the academic achievements have been made possible with the active involvement of both the management and staff. The secretary of the institution, Sri. B.Y. Raghavendra, has never failed to provide the facilities required.
