ದಿನಾಂಕ : 10-06-2016ರ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದಂದು ಮದ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 3.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ‘ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ’ಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಮೂಹದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾದ ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೈತ್ರಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಮೂಹದ ಸಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅರುಣಾದೇವಿ .ಎಸ್.ವೈ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತಾಪಮಾನದ ಏರಿಕೆಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ವಿನಾಶವೇ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪರಿಸರ ಮತ್ತು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ 55 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
