As per the recommendation of RGUHS for the NSS unit to conduct “Training Programme on Breast Feeding” for the health workers. We the NSS unit and faculty of Mythri College of Nursing have organized the same for 43 staff nurses and 35 antenatal and postnatal mothers in Sarji Child Health Center on 02/08/2016 from 11am to 1pm. Mrs. Shruthi.N presented the theme “Breast Feeding: A Key to sustainable Development” and topics were discussed by using the slides prepared by RGUHS. Staff and mothers have given the feedback positively and it was a meaningful one to enhance their knowledge on Breast feeding.
