On behalf of “World AIDS Day” programme was conducted in Bapuji Nagara Primary Health Centre, Shimoga on 01/12/2016 by NSS unit Mythri College of Nursing.

A skit was performed by NSS volunteers regarding prevention and control of HIV/ AIDS. More than 100 community people were participated in the programme. The programme was educative and NSS volunteers were participated actively in making the event successful.

The same day afternoon 3.30pm poster presentation and Essay writing competitions was conducted for the students in college auditorium.

1. Poster Presentation (Theme- Join Hands to destroy the fence of stigma among AIDS Victims)
2. Essay writing (Theme- Responsibility of student nurses in preventing and Educating people regarding HIV/AIDS )

A skit was conducted by students regarding HIV/AIDS prevention.
